Hey there! Thanks so much for reaching out! I just wanted to personally introduce myself.

My Name is Carlos Ascencio and I am a fine art photographer based in the Central Coast, California although I travel the US far and wide in search of new stories to tell. My biggest inspiration that leaned me towards photography was my aunt, she would always take photos of the family, growing up and looking back at the photos she had taken over the years my heart was stolen by the way she documented emotions and that is what made me chose this path as a photographer and I want to do the same for others.

Pre Quince Shoot


This shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other. The great thing about pre quince photos is that we can be as creative as we want, spend a little more time taking each image, choose great locations and there's no pressure.

Plus, we always have a great time!

There are many benefits to hiring a second photographer. One of the main benefits is that a wider variety of images can be captured from multiple different angles. Therefore we can achieve better coverage and capture more once in a lifetime moments.

During an event day, there are countless split second, once in a lifetime moments happen. Having a second photographer means that we capture as many of these moments as possible.

From Booking to Receiving Your Photos

FAQ

When will we get our photos?

A.You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

Where are you based? And do you travel?

A.I am based on the beautiful Central Coast, California but I like to travel. I want to make sure it is an affordable and easy experience for you both so I am more than happy to discuss and send through a customized destination wedding quote before locking you in!

What if it rains?

A.Nothing will get in the way of making your day special! I will use umbrellas or look for the perfect undercover area.

Can we pick our song for the film?

A.no, we use purchased licensed music for our films which means we can legally post them online. We choose music that creates the overall vibe and mood of your day that reflects our style as well as your day. It's part of the creative control you give to us when you book.

Do you give us the raw images?

A.To put it simply, no. When you hire me, you are hiring my style and trust me to bring my creative interpretation to your day. The editing process is equally important as the photo-taking part.

How long does it take to receive our photos/film?

A.The turnaround time is about 4-6 weeks from your event day.

Do we need to feed you?

A.Yes, please! I will be on my feet all day and need my creative juices to keep flowing! Your venue will offer vendor meals.

How do we receive our photos from you?

A.I will deliver an online gallery to you which allows you to download your images from the internet. Films will be delivered the same way. Depending on what package you book, you will also receive a custom box containing prints and a USB.
